Eddyline was originally conceived in the early ‘90s by Mic and Molley Heynekamp through a Senior project by Molley while attending New Mexico Tech. Mic and Molley recognized Buena Vista, CO as one of a handful of special communities where a small-town brewpub concept would be successful. Due to an available opportunity however, Socorro, NM became the launching site for their dream, opening as “Socorro Springs Brewing Co.” in October, 1999.

The passion to live in the Mountains of Colorado continued to burn strong and was then refueled by the desire to allow their three children to have the opportunity to grow up amongst the peaks and creeks of Colorado. Buena Vista was selected as the ideal site to open Eddyline Restaurant and Brewery along the banks of the Arkansas River in South Main. This will be the first of several Eddyline brewpubs.
